WHat car am I thinking of game"

Simple, whoever guesses right, gives 3-4 clues about a car, then whoever guesses that right does the same, and son. I'll start it.

Clue 1: It's been around since 1989
Clue 2: Has been in most GT and Car Simulators, Tuner games (Underground/Underground 2/F&F)
Clue 3: The "symbol color" for the brand's tuning company is red
(symbol color means the most often seen color of that vehicle e.g. Ford Mustang = Red, Camaro ('10) = Yellow, Nissan GT-R = light blue, and so on)

Can you guess it?

I was hoping that someone else might remember these cars, my family went from a Buick Wildcat to an Austin Marina and litterally watched it fall apart after two Canadian winters. Too bad, it was kind of fun being the first "normal" standard car I drove in the back forty. My first experience being with a "three on the tree", the Marina was a treat in retrospect. Well, I can't offer you the year supply of Rice-a-Roni, that San Francisco treat, but you have won a chance to play again!!!

Cool car for sure, and personally associated with the "If I only knew back then" type of cars\decisions. Oh well...

Give this one a go...

1) mid sixties to mid seventies

4) Packed a One Two punch in it's very first race on a track featured in Shift
5) Even had a "smoking" hot edition out there (best looking example of this car)

What's MPV? The only MPV I have heard of is the minivan, Mazda MPV. The only other thing that I can think of that could have the initials MPV that realates to cars could be Mopar Performance Vehicles.

If you look at the hints #2, 3, and 4, the first letters are
M
R
2

The MR2 in Toyota's MR2 stands for Mid-engine, rear wheel drive and 2 seater.
