BETA TESTER CHECK IN : Lets ALL PACK The Stadium

Hey everyone lets ALL MEET UP at the Stadium when the game Starts at 9AM USA TIME and lets see how many people we can put in that Stadium. Most of you should remember from last BETA on where its at. Or should we all meet up at the Golf Course? See you @ Start Time Put in the Thread if you are coming for Meet up. This time i am using FRAPS for Recording and i must admit it sucks up a lot of storage but the videos are "sweet" I am for sure recording some massive amounts of video footage this time. If there is going to be butt loads of people parking should be interesting at the Stadium ha. Parking Lot Pimpin.

Game progressing

When i played the first beta, i've seen a tonn of people driving fast cars. I would like to have some tips to get a gallardo or a M3 whe i play today and tommorow. please give me some tips to earn money and progress levels.

The "real" garages are back.

This is a breath of fresh air. We have back our real garages and they are a work of art. I just hope they are interactive and have the parts laying around that we buy.

Yeah i see a lot of minors are invading the boards, nothing against minors everyone loves to get raced by a 12 yr old and get stomped on but............I guess i will have to watch how i type things on the boards :P

What type of race event should be added to NFS World?

I noticed that in the NFS World US BETA no. 1, there were only 2 types of races: circuit and sprint. I understand that it was only the first BETA, but I really hope that more types of races are added to the game either in time for the official release, or for DLC after it is released. I created this poll to see what type of race event others would most like to see in World.

P.S. The above poll question should be "What type of race event would you like to see in NFS World?" Sorry about that!

Should B1 Testers already have their emails?

Hi, I was a B1 tester along with my girlfriend. Submitted plenty of feedback for B1 and bug reports but have not yet recieved an email for it. Has everyone that was from B1 already got theres?

[color=white][b]Here is a summary of the changes this week:[/b] We’ve made some changes to the leveling pace, Lucky Draw tables (much fewer One More Laps!) and event unlocking. We’d like to see more 8 player races, so we’ve tweaked matchmaking and the number of events that unlock at each level. We’ve also fixed some crash and time out bugs and provided a way for you to send us crash logs if you run into anything new. Please give it all a try and keep letting us know what you think and logging those bugs!

[u][b]DETAILED RELEASE NOTES[/b][/u]

[i]New Features:[/i]
- Server will now give detailed error messages. For example, if you enter your password incorrectly it will tell you that rather than showing the a “-747” error
- Game will now produce debug data when crashing that can be sent to dev team when you report bugs. The crash dump will be a binary file named “NFSCrashDump_CL0_YYYY.MM.DD_HH.MM.SS.dmp” and can be found in the following directory --> [i]\Electronic Arts\NFS World\data\[/i]. If possible, please provide the crash dump files when submitting a bug through World.NeedforSpeed.com
- Number of vinyls per car increased to 50
- Prices of vinyls and paint set to 0 (or 1 if not possible). Essentially, vinyls will be free to put on the car

[i]Changes to the game:[/i]
- Matchmaking stability improved
- Matchmaking timeout increased to 30 seconds
- End of race reward re-balances
- Number of events (races) changed to 15
- Half of events are available from levels 1-5 the rest from levels 6-10

[i]Bug Fixes:[/i]
- Fixed issue with entitling players ("Disconnected from the server. Game will be shut down." bug)
- Fixed a rare issue where a user could be alone in a multiplayer race
- Fixed the region names in the login application
- Improved Teleport to a friend
- Fixed the time out issue while in car customization. There should be no need to save intermediate results in customization[/color]

I had submitted my application for the beta a while ago, and it originally said "Beta Pending." Now, it says "Apply for the Beta" even though I already have, and it tells me so when I click the button.

Somebody, what the hell is going on here?

What wheels do you ride in real life

Like topic says. i think it could be fun to see, what cars people have in real life.

I live in Denmark, where the prices on cars are a lot more expensive than in other countries due to a tax on 180 percent.

At the moment i drive a VW Jetta 2.0 Tdi, but i just ordered an Opel (Vauxhall) Insignia Sportstourer Cosmo 2.0 CDti.

Beta Round 2 Starts March 19th 2010

We are extremely excited to announce the second, of many, closed beta for Need for Speed World. The second beta will begin on [size=18]Friday, March 19th @ 4pm (GMT) and will end Monday, March 22nd @ 7am (GMT).[/size] The second closed beta will feature almost twice the number of racers as the first had so there will be plenty of competition this time around!

[size=18]We are also very happy to announce that if you were selected to participate in the first closed beta ("CB1"), you will be invited to participate in the second closed beta ("CB2").[/size] Be sure to watch your email for the beta invitation. After CB1, we received a lot of great feedback from all the CB1 participants and have made some changes for CB2…

Before we get into the changes, we want to set some expectations for CB2; similar to CB1, these initial rounds are intentionally constrained in terms of features, level progression and content. We are testing and so we need to keep the variables under control to ensure quality data. As the beta program progresses you’ll see more content, ways to play and places to see. Please note that between betas we do clear all the data on the server (including profiles & game play data) therefore you will have to create a new driver and start the game at level one like you did in CB1.
