Login Help??? My EA id profile won't load up.

Ok, I'm not new I joined back in 2008, even though it says that I joined recently. For about a week or two I've been trying to login so that I could get on the forums, and now I'm on here, so I've made progress; but I had to login using my NFS nickname. Is this the new normal way to login?

By signing in with my NFS nickname I lost everything and I am now having to start from scratch. My EA id won't load up, I try to login using it, but it only takes me to the Forum index and still tells me to login at the top. I need help. I can work with what I have, but if it is possible for me to get my info back, that would be nice. Any help would be appriciated. Thanks.

Watch Blu-ray movies in your car via Pioneer DVD player

Wanna watch BD movies in your car, and yet only have a Pioneer DVD player set up in your car? Actually, as long as you are willing to do it, you can totally make a breakthrough on your current situations. As you know, Pioneer AV Receivers enable users to enjoy cinema-like video playback from DVDs or an iPod, which means the right workaround for you to watch Blu-ray movies in your car is transferring your BD files to either a DVD, or iPod videos. Since burning to another DVD is a bit troublesome, and then converting BD movies to iPod videos is a good compromise. Well, the following contents will detail the whole process for you.

What you will need:

- A Pioneer DVD Player installed in your car

- An iPod

- Pavtube Blu-Ray Ripper

- A PC, of course, with a built-in BD drive or an external BD drive

What can Pavtube Blu-Ray Ripper do for you?

Pavtube Blu-Ray Ripper is a professional utility to rip both Blu-ray discs and general DVDs to your wanted HD or SD media formats, for playback on your iPod, iPhone, PSP, Apple TV, etc.

With full Blu-ray disc support, Pavtube Blu-Ray Ripper is able to remove copyright protections of your BD disc, no matter BD+, or AACS, even MKB Version > 10 is supported as well. With advanced audio technology, it is capable of reading all audio tracks of a BD disc, including Dolby TureHD Audio and DTS-HD Master Audio, which will never let you miss the mother tongue of the movie.

Firstly, insert your Blu-ray disc to the drive, and then launch Pavtube Blu-Ray Ripper.

Step 1: Load BD files
There are three ways to import Blu-ray movies to this program, through "DVD Rom", "DVD Folder" or "IFO/ISO".

Step 2: Select output format for iPod, and set destination folder
Click the pull down menu of "Format" to select the output format according to the specifications of your iPod. Meanwhile, click the folder icon at the end of "Output" to specify where to locate the converted files.

Step 3: Adjust audio and video parameters
Click "Settings" button, and then the following interface will pop up, on which you are allowed to customize audio and video parameters including codec, bit rate, frame rate, aspect ratio, sample rate and audio channels to optimize the output file quality.

Step 4: Start conversion

Once all settings are done, you can click "Convert" button to start conversion, and the finally output files can be found via clicking "Open" button.

What you should do next is using iTunes to sync the output files to your iPod. After that, just connect iPod to the Pioneer DVD player in your car via a cable, okay, you’re done, enjoy it now. It’s the perfect way to entertain kids and adults on long and short road trips.

little help here.

you know ive been advocating a return to the past?
well, i really do want to work with the NFS community to create a "car list"
only problem. i dont want the thread "car jacked" by the underground crowd, tyring to "street it" or suggesting cop chases, or stories, wich dont really interest me, i just want to race exotics round mountains, so naturally i just the old fashioned nfs fans and supercar fans to come and give serious vehicle suggestions, so were would be the nbest place to put the thread to ensure only interested partoes would look at it? i did try it on another site, but, got no replies, i quess they just didnt like cars.

Signs That You might be a car guy

this's the post i said i would post in the sometimes u need a laugh thread. The first 2 are;as the R&T article says "the first rule of car guy-dom,the rest are from the same article and from jeff foxworthy but are what the title of this thread says.

Rules of Car Guy-Dom:1: u change your own oil
2: u change your own oil.

that's the 2 rules that the article had.

Signs that u might be a car guy.

1: You pick up the morning paper and headline reads," Alien Death Ray incinerates millions." You set the front page down for later reading and go straight to a Sears insert that says,"Presidents Day Craftsman Tool Sale."
2: You've owned at least one brand of car your local insurance agent has never heard of and u have to spell it twice. Or 3 times , in the case of the Innocenti Mini Matic T1000.
3:There was no way on earth u would miss the opening night of a Clint Eastwood movie called Gran Torino regardless of content.
4: You have a whole drawer filled with cruddy ,slightly rusty "take-off" hose clamps, which u will never use again.Unless u have to get an engine running at midnight when all the autoparts stores are closed.
5: U have neighbors who wonder why u can never get a rebuilt engine running before midnight. And why the garage doors have to be open...
6: you spend Sundays watching 3 different types of racing on Speed Channel, and on Monday morning somebody at the office says," How about them Bears?" and u don't know if he's talking about football or a fire in Yellowstone.
7:u own a "cherry picker" engine hoist that's all spattered with overspray from a defective nozzle on a can of chrome-aluminum spray paint that also hit your Cobra poster.
8:the left fingertips on the rubber glove in your bead-blasting cabinet are all worn away from holding small carb linkage parts. Your fingertips on your hand don't look so good either.
9: Jay Leno's garage seems like and island of enlightment and perfect sanity in a world gone mad.
10: Opening a velvet-lined micrometer case creates the exactly the same rush of endorphins in your brain as lifting the lid on a plush-lined case of containg a triple-pickup Les paul Custom.
11:all your blue jeans have a hole in the left knee because your you have a hole in the left knee of your coveralls.
12: your air compresser is slightlly larger than the refridgerator in your house.
13: the only time u use unprintable foul launguage is when your alone in the workshop and something goes wrong. Which is about every 5 minutes.
14: in just looking at classifieds, you can entertain notions of buying a big-block Corvette, a short wheelbase Land Rover, a suicide-door Continenntal ,or an MG TC all in the same brain.
15: your bench grinder pedestal is permantlly bolted to the floor.
16: there is no day to bad that the sight of a buff-colored issue of Hemmings in your mailbox doesn't dissolve all worldly cares.
17: you are on a first name basis with the only guy in the county who knows how to rebuild Dynaflow and Hydra-Matic automatic transmissions.
18: u own more than 1 floor jack.
19: the electrical parts drawer in your toolbox contains 2 high-performance Lucas Sport Coils that look brand new, but u honestlly can't remember if they're new spares or if u took them off a race car that was misfiring. So u never use them and u never throw them out.
20: you're starting to think maybe a real car guy should have a coil tester.
21: you go to the hardware store to buy two 7/16 grade-8 locknuts and walk out with a box of 100, because, "it's always good to stock up."
22: you own at least one Nomex racing suit that you've "outgrown" and one or more helmets with expired Snell stickers, preferblly from another century.
23: when u go house hunting with a realtor u automaticlly reject any home without room to park a car trailer-or at least a place to hide one if it's one of those upscale neighborhoods where zoning laws are concocted to keep out people just like you.
24: half the money u earned in your 20's went to a man in a Snap-On tool truck.
25: you have a surprising number of friends whose children are named for the legendary members of Team Lotus.
26: you privatlly believe that a cheap or insubstantial tool box reflects a kind of spiritual malaise in the owner.
27: you never completlly bond with a dog that doesn't enjoy car rides and sticking its head out the window.
28: you own several combination wrenches which have been heated to a cherry red with your oxy-acetylene torch and bent to perform specials tasks now forgotten.
29: you have a wall locker in your garage containing at least 8 cans of motor oil, all of different brands and viscosities ( synthetic, non-synthetic, straight 50 wt. racing, etc.), left over from past oil changes where u bought 1 extra can "just in case".
30: you imagine that someday u might have an old beater of such low status that it won't bother u to mix brands and viscosities while doing an oil change. That day never comes.

Those are it. They aren't funny but they are good, I mean they came from Jeff Foxworthy, so they somewhat are funny on a low scale. But enjoy, maybe some of them fit u. Only a few of them fit me but i'm 17 so i have years to complete all of them.

New Underground ?

Hi my name is Hernani Silva i live in Portugal, im a big fan of need for speed since it came out for Pc and Sega Saturn….

In my opinion the best games were need for speed undercover 1 and 2, for me and a lot of people that I know…. (forums you tube reviews…)

Most wanted was good to but I think that yellow graphics or fog or whatever that is ruined the games, hopefully in need for speed shift that doesn’t exist anymore, anyway need for speed shouldn’t be only tracks, for that there is grid and grand turismo that is by far the best game in tracks of all time ….

Lets all ask EA Games if they can unify all the games they did of need for speed but maintain the spirit of underground, then we will all have a really nice game. =)

I know that at the beginning the story of need for speed wasn’t street, tuning up, etc, but im sure this will be for the best, im tired of seeing the games of need for speed going lower and lower and lower just read the reviews and you know its true….

So remember UNDERGROUND SPIRIT with shift graphics. =)

I don’t know what team made need for speed undergrond but I still love it still play it, not even most wanted or carbon was so lovely like undercground…

Thank You ALL

Hernani Silva

Experience Blu-ray and DVD movies on HTC HD mini

Experience Blu-ray and DVD movies on HTC HD mini
At the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, HTC unveiled the HD mini which is running on windows mobile 6.5.3. Clean lines, compact form, and elegant construction give the HTC HD mini the looks that fit any place, time or circumstance. It features shortcuts to important people, web sites or application, kinds of social networking, business E-mail, animated weather wallpaper, adjusting ringer volume automatically, 5 megapixel color camera, etc. HTC is committing to offer the best user experience for customers, and the multimedia function is no exception. The 3.2in AMOLED capacitive display, effective resolution of 480×320, superb contrast and colour rendition will enable customers to have the best experience in enjoying movies on HD mini.

Blu-ray and DVD movies are very popular HD movies nowadays, most of you, must like me, wanna watch Blu-ray and DVD movies on the impressive HD mini. OK, let’s see how.
First, we need to know:
Audio supported formats:
aac, .amr, .m4a, .mid, .mp3, .mp4, .qcp, .wav, .wma
Video supported formats:
wmv, .asf, .mp4, .3gp, .3g2, .m4v, .avi
Then, what we need to use:
Pavtube Blu-ray Ripper
Step-by-step tutorial is listed here:

Step 1: Click “DVD Rom”, “DVD Folder” or “IFO/ISO” to import your DVD files.
Step 2: Click the drop-down list of the format to select the suitable format
Here I choose MP4 format, cause this format will save your space and keep high quality.

Step 3: Click “Setting” button to do optimal setting
Because N97 has 480X320 pixels, to watch videos in full screen, we’d better set the aspect ratio at 480X320. Here are my settings - full screen, good quality and sounds well:

Video Resolution: 480*320

Video Bitrate: 768 kbps

Audio Bitrate: 128 kbps

Video Format: MP4

Audio Format: AAC

Frame rate: 30fps

Sample rate: 44100hz

Audio Channels: 2 Channels

Step 4: Click "Convert" button to start conversion
Once all the conversion is done, you can get the output files via clicking "Open" button. Then, you can enjoy the converted files on your HD mini effortlessly. Good luck.

Do you prefer racing agaisnt cops?

Do you prefer racing against cops? What type of cars do you prefer to race in a video game? Do you want to race a million dollar car or a Honda Civic with low body kit?

As for me I prefer racing against cops because its something i can not do in real life. I would like to hop on a Ferrari Enzo and go on hot pursuit chase but lets face it I don't have million dollars to buy the car and i dont want to go to jail. lol So video games are a good way to satisfy our desires, but EA and the developers who come up with the ideas for NFS are starting to loose it. I do not know how much success their NFS Pro Street or NFS Shift were but i found those games bloody boring. I rather get punch in the face than play those games.

I seen the NFS series degrade with time, I believe many of you can agree with that. We can blame the Fast and Furious movie for that which inspire them to put this import cars that can be modded ridiculously. The older versions of NFS were seen as racing exotic cars, the type you cant really afford to drive in real life. Well the latest version of NFS Shift doesn't have cops and its why i didnt buy it. Its just boring to race without any good challenge besides being number 1. I am writing this here in the hopes perhaps an employee can read this and see how it has disappointed some of its fans. Back when EA came up with NFS Underground i swore i would never buy another NFS game but they got me when they released NFS MW which was awesome but lacked many features that older games such as NFS 3, NFS High Stakes and Porsche Unleashed had. Then NFS Carbon was a let done with bad storyline, the canyon duels were boring as hell who ever came up with that idea to put it there should be fired, i gave up on that game after playing it for 4 hours, thankfully i rented the game so no big lose in money with that.

TL;DR version:
Latest NFS games arent that good. They lack qualities older games had and they should be brought back. There should be a remake of NFS High Stakes. You know a game where you could be the cop, have dashboard view, cops that dont just knock you off the road how about some that throw fire barrels like in NFS HP2 lol Or how about having cops shoot at you? I would like to have a game where you get shot at when racing, have bullet holes on car. Then when car breaks down you should be able to get out and make a run for it. HELP ME FULFILL MY FANTASY!!!!

I miss NFS 3 HP

I miss NFS HS

The damage effects were even better in 1999 than nowadays that we have graphics cards with Dx11....
