Beautiful Cars

It was inevitable really, seeing as we already have an ugly car thread. Here are the rules: Choose your TOP THREE most beautiful cars ever (easier said than done). They do not have to be in any particular order. Also, I want to see the car pr0n/eye-candy, so post pics please! :mrgreen:

I'll start it off.

1. Honda/Acura NSX (NA1) - I'm a sucker for pop-up headlights.

2. Porsche 911 Turbo (993) - Instant hard-on every time I see that rear end.

3. Lancia Stratos - Never seen one in real life, but something about this car just does it for me. Such a menacing presence.

Corvette, Not As Impenetrable As They Thought

I wanted to make this a Corvette vs. Viper thread to go with the recent Mustang vs. Camaro and other threads. But frankly with Viper getting a rework that has yet any leaked information. You can't really do it. Not to mention Viper hasn't been remarked upon in this issue in any manner shape or form. I suppose I could ask who thought which company would do a better job making a new pretty body but if forced to choose between Fiat and GM, I think we'd all point towards Fiat.

But to the point.

Corvette is looking abroad to make a better looking car. It turns out that the Corvette sold 48% less in 2009 than it did in 2008. And frankly it's not surprising. Corvette's biggest buyer is Cadillac owners who are currently going through a midlife crisis and want something a little more racy.

So the question is why is it older people are the ones buying Corvette? Well, Corvette hasn't particularly changed in 26 years. It still looks the same, only bigger. And frankly it's not like the young crowd sees Stingray's driving around everyday and think to themselves..."I want part of that heritage." Instead we're seeing something about as sexy as a door wedge and thinking to ourselves. I'd rather have a Ferrari, 'cause Ferrari is as reliable now a days as the next guy and is made out of better parts. And more comfortable of a ride. And gets better fuel mileage. And looks sexier.

Frankly, a return to the Stingray body might bring me over to the Corvette camp. And can only be a good thing. As long as they start using better quality parts.

2010 Tesla roadster sport vs 2010 Porsche Boxster Spyder

This's a weird comparison but they say these 2 were worth comparing. Personnely I hate electric cars, even though i'm 17 i'm old school, i want that V8 rumble or V6 growl. The gas engine is bening replaced by hybrids, diesels and full electrics, i don't mind diesels but the other 2. i'm going into the auto mechanic field and i hope in 5 years i'm not working on only hybrids and electrics. the gas engine is an endangered species. Okay i'm getting of topic here for what my post is, even though the tesla is electric it is a match for the porsch. the Tesla is the only electric i even the tiniest bit like. If u post here about it post also whether u like or dislike electrics, or think wherter or not they'll worth it. I'm a little too negative in this but I would to know how many people would buy or approve of electric cars over gas, diesels or hybrids, which the last one i don't mind because it still has an engine.

Ferrari VS Lamborghini: Which is Better?

Which of these Italian comapanies do you like the best? Why?

I like Ferrari more because they all have a unique design, they are rear wheel drive, and the have the most addicting exhaust note, second to only the Cobra 427, IMO.
