Alright i think im finished now (though ive noticed one small adjustment ive gotta make since taking these pics)

Paint makes the lines fainter in the light, they are actually the same colour as the side light blue stripes

Low enough for your liking?

Just alil close up of one side, theres one small problem with that pic but its fixed now

I reckon all up the vinyls took me around 10-12 hours to make this whole car (obviously not all in one sitting lol)
with around 5-6 of those hours going into work you can barely see in the finished result the black widebody highlighting of the body lines on each side and door windows

Worse thing is, i only drift on the game so no1 see's the car anyways so i hope ppl see it here and like it

hello,

now it s much better to have a good idea of the layout.

The whole thing seems to be well-balanced. All the sides work fine together.

Except the little adjustment I show you on the following picture (I have added some WHITE VINYLS UNDER your devil to hide the stripe going through it) , I would change nothing.

Good jod dude.

10 hours for your car! it seems to be pretty much time... You will surely use less time for your next car.
For mine, I use an average of 2-3 hours per layout. You should come closer to this time with more practice.

Keep on posting your cars

cheers

William

@ Romeil

hello romeil,

good luck with your PS3, mine collapsed too, and i missed all my cars from the previous NFS

so bad because they were much better than those made in SHIFT.

Well... I had to buy a new PS3 for 4 monthes ago, i hope this one will have a longer life.

@ Ubersil,

you made some nice vinyls work on your car, and some angle are pretty interesting.
I would like to see your next cars soon to see how you re improving.

cheers.

PS: Shame, shame, shame on the 30% french people who think that the game France vs Ireland should not be played again.

i run on a really small tv so all the touchy stuff like putting the white behind the devil is just a little to hard for me. i tried but cant get it looking right so ill leave it as is

I did try and actualy thought of doing that ages ago while i was makin the car

Hey all

Please see my first attempt at the vinyl thing.
Car is the Camaro SS

Looking at the image now, the colours are all wrong, should be yellow on black.

Any ideas as to how to fix this?

Think you might have to go in and change the colour of every vinyl..

The vinyl in the game is yellow, once I take a photo and upload it, it changed colour. Has anyone else had this happen?

I know that the colors are all wrong if you download the file from myNFS in the usual way.

here is my trick to avoid your problem.

it is pretty simple indeed, but you have to go through this process to get the right picture on your HD.

1) open your picture in myNFS page.
2) press your "PRT SCR" key on your keyboard (this key makes a kind of "CTRL" "C" of your screen)
3) open Paint or photshop
4) create a new file in photoshop or paint. Obs! make it big enough if you use photoshop.
5) in the blank window, press the paste shortcut key combination: "CTRL" + "V"
6) Et voila, your picture is now displayed with right colors in your drawing program
7) eventually crop and adjust the colors and then you get what you want.

Hope my explanations are clear and easy enough.

now I am looking forward to seeing your first vinyl attempt with the correct colors... by the way, even if it looks basic and simple, it looks very nice too. let\s see what it becomes with the right colors now.

Cheers dude

Hey whats going on guys...my rides might not be as detailed and crazy colored as most of these...but i think I'm pretty decent at designing vinyl layouts on NFS....I try to go for a clean look seeing as I'm really into cars. I drive a VW Jetta..sometimes too much can look a little wack....My G35 was chosen as one of the winners for the photomode contest.....check mine out and tell me what you think...more rides coming soon..tune in..

btw...ch_bill...nice rides....if you have xbox add me...we should race when we're not stuck in the car garage..lol....
