I wouldn't be so quick to say that. After all, this was just a beta with only some of the content in the game, they probably have a more finished build at this point seeing as how they have added the R35 and Gallardo LP560-4 to the game (From what they have willingly released). I do agree there may be network problems, but it seems to only apply to some people based on what I am assuming is their own internet connection. I also agree that coding a game takes a long time, since when you change one thing something else changes, but for a game that seems as complete as it does now I don't think it would require an entire year, maybe 3/4 of that or less factoring in the addition of new content to the latest build of the game and the game's future compatibility for expansions...

Guys, maybe I exagerate about but I wait for this game A LOT and I never think about it not have old bridge and canyons, is it first time ever when NFS cancel a project for 1 more year of improving.
Well, when NFS WO will be released it should have A COMPLETE MAP WITH ALL THE CANYONS! (like your map Dylan but without Bayview and Tri city, no offence but this game is ok, they just have to sort some bugs and add the canyons ) I mean after 2 years of their work, and us wait, it should be one of the best game from NFS series, or why not, the best from ALL NFS series, who agree with me?

Wrong. Game doesn't crash . Crashes are not the problem . The problem is with the online and UI part of the game - interface bugs,race entry bugs etc. I got lag because the servers are in Taiwan and my computer is around 25 000 kilometers away from Taipei. So the net code is ok.
About the content : This was a very cut-off version of the game. It was just a technical and connectivity test. No gameplay features were tested. Anyway, it looks like EA decided to add even MORE content into the game and that is why the game is being delayed.
Yes, Randyorton, the game should represent the best of the underground series. Lots of cars,tuning,rich customization,cops,free roam,hot chicks,cool music and so on. Looks like EA are really putting some effort in it which makes me very happy. Lets not forget that its proven that the F2P games make more money than the P2P ones. So I'm sure NFS World Online is going to be special

The map by Dillano is pretty clever. To stop from big loading times they should put tollbooths between cities Bayview and Tri-city like Drift City did. The map by ea is just plain. Also Daylight in Rockport and Palmont and Tri-city but night in Bayview and the canyons would just be awesome!!!

I have just watched gliches of most wanted jump and carbon canyons by dillano and I must say, very impressed! If EA dont add the canyons, san juan and the drift course to world online now that its delayed for year, they can get screwed! If they can't add everything at least add the carbon canyon connecting the most wanted bridge jump and the construction site on lookout point and a highway to connect the cities. EA please take this into consideration and try to add everything dillano has on his map. If you do add it, you should pay dillano big bucks for his idea lol!

FYI, I have read that article a million times so I don't need to read it again. I'm just saying that because of EA delaying WO for a year they should take the time to include everything on dillano's map and get it right! One more thing, I hope they have the Toyota Supra and the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 in the game and I'll be happy. Cheers!

Diliano has put lots of his time in his map,and developers had the same idea in mind. (yes,they're not that stupid as you think because they've made the game and they know its contents better than anyone) . That's why they explained why they have put the cities so close.They're delaying the game because there's still much to be done.The map is ready though, and there's no turning back.

Does your simple mind understand that? Because I can't think of better explanation.

UltimateGTR & ATi0021: Glad you guys are liking the visual upgrades, however there are no plans to patch Most Wanted and Carbon with these graphics. The world is being upgraded specifically for World Online and would not be compatible with those games.

I'm glad to know when the sign-ups are going to be ready, I just hope my computer is powerful enough... I think, if I have time, I will make a second map that is more practical.
