Hi, Im trying to beat the drag king to do that i need to do wheelies. I have a charger r/t which i have read are good cars for wheelies. I have level 3, engine, forced indication, transmission, and nitrous oxide. I get max grip, then get a perfect shift in 1st gear and also use n.o.s at the same time and it doesnt lift up and do a wheelie.

Please help me fast!!

It's the setup, from the walkthrough linked to below:

Charger R/T wheelie parts: buy stage 3 suspension (required for wheelies). Other parts same as before. Stock: brakes. Stage 3: engine, drivetrain, suspension, supercharger, tires, nitrous. Use Eaton twin screw charger. Tuning: front shock compression +10, rear shock compression -10, front shock rebound -10, rear shock rebound +10, front spring +10, rear spring -10, ride height +10, front tire pressure +10, rear tire pressure -10, boost and nitrous +10, gears all 0 (middle).

Hey, Hey! I used a Road Runner for wheelie competitions in ProStreet and used to get 1000 ft wheelies without any troubles at all. The best way I found was to let the revs drop from perfect down around 2000 RPM and then shift from neutral to first. This will get the torque to lift your wheels off the ground. Let the revs go past perfect and even over rev a little bit before shifting to second. Same thing from second to third. Hit NOS right after shifting to third to keep your wheelie going strong. Two quick shifts for fourth and fifth, and you should be laughing at everybody for NOT doing 1000 ft wheelies. The Road Runner was the best for wheelies and it was a free car to boot... You just can't lose!!! It takes a little bit to get used to not shifting when it gets to the perfect zone at first, but understand, it's not a race, it's a wheelie competition. Let them blow you off the line, it doesn't matter, just the distance counts.

Unless you back up a very long distance, the Charger R/T doesn't require using any nitrous, perfect shift, or a perfect launch, using the setup I describe above. Example video of a 2035 foot wheelie done by backing up at Willow Springs:

Get a Chevelle. Do the tires, suspension, drivetrain and a shot of NO. Drop the clutch at the green with low RPM's, hit all the sweet spots in each gear, and when the nose starts to drop in 5th hit the NO. 1,300+ feet almost every run. Guaranteed over 1,000 feet every run if you don't miss a shift.

I used the Chevelle too. A bit of proper tuning is needed (see above posts).
The Drag King (Queen) has to be the easiest of all the bosses in the game. You don't even have to try to beat her.
Good luck! :)

Likewise for the Grip King and Speed KIng, and the Drift King isn't tough if you've gotten that far. Even Ryo is not difficult at Nevada, though at Tokyo Dockyard he's not easy at all. In each mode, the last race day before the King confrontation is the toughest.. The Kings (ex Ryo) are a real anticlimax.

1,345 feet, no? Not bad on a 1,320 foot track.

How does it work in real world drags? Where do wheelie measurements start and end on a quarter-mile drag strip?

I actually use a Nissan 350Z. Max it out, and use nitrous when you start bottoming out and keep shifting. It may go a little crazy when you land the wheelie, but it's great. Can usually get 600-900 ft with it.

In the last few days I have made somewhat of an attempt to see how much I could get out of the Chevelle with the stock or stage 1 engine. It will still do 1,300+ ft wheelies with stage 1 engine and stage 3 charger, but needs a shot of NO. Without using NO that configuration will do 750-1,000 ft wheelies. I drive with the keyboard - presumably driving with wheel/pedals would give more precise shift points and perhaps longer wheelies with less power. Maybe? For minimalists, the Chevelle seems to me to be THE wheelie ride in ProStreet.

Hey, I haven't tried the S13. Been in the back of my mind for quite awhile to do that, but your timing is great to get me right to it. I'm in the early stages of a career/game and it's time to decide what to do with the Grip S13 - I usually leave it in Grip or re-mode to Drift. I'm going to put it in Drag and replace it in Grip with an Elise. Maybe that will get me off my Chevelle habit. It would be great to have another hot wheelie option. Anybody know of any other 1,300-foot wheelie cars, especially fairly inexpensive cars that will do it without extreme measures?

I seem to be having very good luck with a tweeked out Shelby 500 GT (newer style) and shifting just before perfect shift points.
