When running SHIFT, after showing all the videos the menu comes up. Then after selecting new career, the video shows up, and alas! the game crashes to desktop when the loading dialog is shown. Tried all setting within the game, but all the same.

PC Specs

Pentium Dual core 2 GHz
1.5 GB RAM
1 GB NVidia Geforce 9500 GT

Please help.

I get the same mate. Bought the game today, and am very disappointed. Get all the set-up and narration at the beginning but just as I setoff round Brands Hatch it crashes and sends a message to microsoft!!
Apparantly there is a patch due out soon that fixes a lot of pc problems?!?! Kind of need it now though!!
I am sending EA a request for more info.

Same problem here... I bought the game a few days ago, I have tryed all the settings... same message to Microsoft.

Windows XP Pro SP3
Intel Core 2 Duo CPU
E 4600 @ 2.40 GHz
2 GB of RAM
NBIDIA GeForce 8600 GT 512 MB with the latest driver

Please HELP!

I think we all just got shifted by need for speed lol j/k I feel they are aware of the problems and will fix, in time.
I just hope they do before xmas or there are going to be so many more people in here its going to get very full of people looking for answers.
Some how I think even with a new patch this game will still not work for me, but I hope it does.
