Need for Speed Racing Games

Although there have been only a few reviews released so far, it seems the general feel is that the customizations is great, but gameplay is predictable and lacking depth.

I was really hoping itd live up to its potential. But there is BLUR and Split Second....

yeah-i expected a lot and am not dissapointed.
but a wii racer thats not mario kart geting 8/10 from ign, it HAS to be good.

Normally I don't trust IGN however, Nitro does look cool.

yep i like gamespot more. They are more harsh but give better reviews.

I beg to differ. So far all I've read was how fantastic this game is - I've been waiting for this to finally come out, pre-purchased and all, and now that it has, I couldn't be more disappointed! This is the worst NFS yet!!! Why did the Wii get its lousy version, while xbox & ps3 get shift? Why did we get stuck with the garbage version? I've been an avid player of NFS since Porsche Unleashed - and this might very well be the last copy I ever buy! I wonder how many people have asked EA to give them their money back on this piece of crap? No story line, cartoon styled cars, cars that handle like they are from looney tunes - what kind of junk is this EA!!!

Guess you can tell I'm not too impressed eh?? Sorry for my rant, but I just had to unload on someone.

well u should have probably checked the screens and videos uploaded before release, then you would have realised what this game was going to be like stylewise. you cant complain about buying something rubbish if you didnt check any of the info about it beforehand

Yup, you are right - totally right, but you figure after owning every copy (legally too I might add!!) for the last 10years, you come to know what to expect. All the games have been "similar", fine updates, and changes to engines, graphics etc - but this is a joke! I don't understand how EA can justify destroying this game is such fashion. Or was it simply the guys in Montreal that decided what to do with it?
