glad i saw this post...

im also looking for a HD cam thats not too expensive (well cheaper than 1000).

but i want mine for filming Surfing, and video editing on greenscreen. so it CANT be MiniDV cause they SUCK workin with greenscreen.

anybody know some cams like these mentioned (if whats been mentioned arent the best) that have great ZOOM???
cause i need it to be able to Zoom a good distance without getting pixelated.

- the HD Camera
- a massive Lithium battery that lasts 5hrs when recording at highest quality. (battery that comes with camera only lasts 1.5hrs if your filming at highest quality. so you need to buy a backup)
- a external battery charger (so i'll never have 2 dead batteries)
- and a 1.5x Telephoto lense (for filming surfing, not skating. they have good wide angles though for this Cam too)

i HIGHLY suggest you check out this deal!
it was $700 cheaper than buying the camera off of the Canon site. (it was listed for $1,399 on there)
considering everything you get for 1k instead of 2k... thats EPIC beyond all things! haha

i even spoke with a friend of mine whos a professional videographer... and he said that its definitely a Really good camera, has all the specs you would want for a price like that.
