I agree they always seem to take away something good when they drop a new version of the game.

At the top of the page click on the "MYNFS" button, log in using the email and pasword that you use for EA nation. then go to "MY PICS" that you took in game then save them to your computer then upload them to a image hosting site like photobucket.com then use the [img] code in your post.

this part of the game is such a frustration.

bad ergonomy, poor choices for the vinyls, minimalistic primitives vinyls, awful color pickup, no define color palette, no symetric function, no proportional scaling function, poor scaling rate both for increase and decrease, no increment 15 degres rotating function, no UNDO function if you change a color by mistake or delete a vinyle by mistake, etc. should i say more?

but i have hopes that EA will be kind enough to solve these issues in a patch soon or later. I may be a dreamer but i do hope so...

Anyway, while i wait for this part of the game being a bit more easy and friendly, here is some of my works...
enjoy!

My favorite car is the Corvette. Here is mine (Works converted) with about my most creative vinyls... Obviously I am as creative with vinyls as I am a great NFS:S racer (Yes, I am being sarcastic - i'm lousy).

Thanks all

ch_biLL awesome job, spectacular looking cars, I look forward to see what you can do if this part of the game ever gets fixed. I am trying with a few cars but I get frustrated too easy and just go back to racing. I have downloaded the wire frames of all the cars and was thinking about trying my hand in photoshop but I have a lot of learning for that process. Keep up the great work.

thanks ram001, it s always pleasant to read when you see that some people like your work.

just send your layouts too, and i will tell you if I ever see that there are some simple and easy ways to improve them.

here is my last creation, i made it yesterday, it took me about 2 hours to fix.

Chevrolet camaro SS,
Black and gold thema, with a nice tribal touch! enjoy!...

for those who have not checked my other cars, check the links in my previous mail, you may like them, well... I hope :S.

I hope to release a new car soon. I have always dreamt to see a drifting pacman in a maze, if i don t make up my mind, this may happen soon on my Mazda RX8

I seriously dont know how people get the drifting in this game, it sucks!!!!! no physics and its just to hard, next time nfs shouldt let some redneck(vaughn gittin jr) design the physics.

if you try drifting with a low upgraded car, it s much more easy. in addition, drift close to the falshing lights and you get lots of bonus points doing so.

Is there anyone else who cannot get its snapshots on its MyNFS page?
All the pictures i sent are not there. neither the old ones or new ones.

A pity because i have 3 new cool cars to present. really cool cars... trust me.

I know this is your oppinion and your more then welcome to view it, but may i share my oppinion

The physics in the drifting are spot on, hard and not very kind to beginners and the novice's though but still spot on

Why do i say that you may ask? Well unlike alot of ppl on the internet that claim there expertize in certain fields before offering there opinions id like to say i have no expertize, just a fan of all things that have wheels and a motor. i enjoy watching all things motorsport and have a pretty sound knowledge around cars

Anyways im starting to get on here n go off course so i'll get back to what i was trying to say

Drift cars: How many drift cars in the world do you see that are stock standard? I dont mean kids on the street that can pull up there handbrake, anyone and there grandma can do that. I mean on the track weather its an open drift day or a full on drift event my guess would be not many and the ones that do look stock would only look stock from the outside.

Thing is cars take alot of punishment to drift, from design there not meant to be able to do it, and thats shown on this game in my eyes. no matter what you do to your car weather its stock or completely done up it wont drift too well unless you have some slight idea what your doing in the tuning department

Think about it, how many actual drift cars do you see with huge ammounts of power? not many, they usualy average around 400 horsepower give or take abit and around if not more the same torque

how many run full adjustable suspension including high adjustment, camber/caster n rollbar changes? all of them coz they dont work stock

How many use stock clutches n gearbox/driveline differentials? my guess, none as they just dont last and while they do they would just slip

So how do you convert this into your car on shift

my advice:

Choose any car you want, my pick for a good starting car would be RX-7 as you have to do bugger all to get it to drift right

Use senseable upgrades like driveline turbo/boost exhaust to get it around the magic 400 figure or close enough to it

Then do all handling upgrades like suspension/tires/brakes weight reduce and seam-weld wider wheels to get the most outta it

then a go into tuning, go quick tune and turn ur steering to full oversteer (NOTE only for drift cars, there seems to be a glitch for drifting that if this ISNT enabled the car suffers extreme oversteer)

and there you go you'll have a pretty decent lil package that will give you alot of fun and that you can learn your lines n the basics of drifting with

Once you get consistant n find your at your limits with that and cant ring anymore score out of it, try a tune

Give it some camber and caster to increase ur turning speed which while make it easier to flick the car from corner to corner

hieght to raise or lower your center of gravity which makes a huge difference

Rollbars front and rear to stiffen or soften the car through coners

downforce to help grip through cornering

gearing to set the car up for more power in the gears you usualy use through a drift (3rd, 4th possibly 5th)

and so on and so forth. i wont give any specifics as well once you get the hang of it, you'll find more enjoyment outta doing it yourself then being told all of it

also steering setups. manual is proberly best for drifting as you can control gears alot easier through corners instead of leaving it up to the game to decide

Also handling mode you use, alot use pro, makes it alot more of a challenge, i personally use normal with all assists turned off except for steering assist(basically so its still got power steering)

Holly poop i wrote alot, i better stop now, this was only meant to be a response to what a had quoted not a whole topic on itself sorry

anyone that would like further advice, look for me in ranked drift or feel free to pm me

also to the guy that was having photo problems, i have that too. most days it takes me 2-3 log outs log back ins for them to show up on my profile here. thats when my profile actualy decides to show that i have an account linked lol
