Some of this is really helpful but i feel really dumb asking this. What car qualifies for the Works Restrcited event?
I have my Pagani Zonda R which qualifies for the supercar event, but not for the works. I tried using my worked tier 3 lamborghini, but obviously that didn't work. If this is a tier 4 event that requires a car to have work done to it, then why is there no such car in tier 4 that you are able to do work on???
Really confused, what car do i use for this event?

I`m having the same problems spinning apponents! I`m missing one f##in` star in this game and it`s all because of this stupid idea of spinning apponnets. Since when did this have anything to do with racing anyway? I have tried close to a hundred times with all awailable cars, tuned or not tuned with no luck. Please help before I thrash my 50" plasma and my ps3 along with it!!! Oh, and by the way it`s on the American track, don`t remember it`s name (tier2, only American cars)

Hello RivalHopeso.
Sometimes it`s not that easy to win all events with the same car allthough I personally think you have the best car in the Lambo Murci.
Anyway you should be able to win the total in series races with this car.
The poor thing about this car is the topspeed. Be shure your not using too much downforce because this will slow it down even more. I would use 6 in front and rear at max. I believe I "stretched" the finaldrive ratio quite a bit if not all the way towards topspeed on mine, this might help you especially on the faster tracks.
Some say the Works Corvette is the second fastest car in this game, after the Zonda R.
I have it and can confirm that this might be true, you might want to try this car aswell.
Please notice that your competitors cars will be different depending on what car you drive so it might be easier competition if you choose a different car.
Hope any of this will help you on your way.
Best regards Panser937

If you are wondering how to works convert a car, this is how. First, when you buy your car, look to the right of the manufacturer (I can't spell) emblem. If there is a W there, you can works convert it. Then, you have to buy that car and upgrade all of the Performance upgrades as high as they can go. If you look in the bottom right area of the screen, there is a little meter that tells you how far you have to go. Once it is fully upgraded, press backspace (If you have PC, I don't know the others) and then pay the amount to works convert your car. The Corvette Z06 and the Lamborghini Murcialago are best at this.

better starting: while waiting for the green light and siren to go off, switch to 1st gear. Then you won't having to wait 1 or 2 seconds to get of the starting line

I think the Works z06 is an amazing car, but after messing around, it doesn't compare to the Zonda R. Oh well. I picked up a Murcialago and am working on it (for the tier 4 euro vs japan races) It seems like it may be better than th Work z06! Also on spinning people out, I have found that the small wedge like cars (vette) work good for this. Just pretty much ram them from behind at a high speed. Works good

if u want 2 spin ppl out here is wut i do. come up beside the opponent u want 2 spin, then swerve into one of the rear end fenders. the car should end up sideways being pushed by ur car. if it is dun rite, u will be pushing on one of his rear fenders. just keep pushing and he will spin all the way out. this is a good way 2 spin ppl w/o getting spun urself. it works especially good when the person is in front of u on a corner, and u hit the rear fender that is on the inside of the turn.

I don't have any of the cars tuned because I was expecting it to get all messed up when I got the patch in. I never got the patch in and I've been doing just fine with the Nissan GTR 35 Works'd. EASILY took first in every race in Tier 4 Works Restricted with 1 series left to go.
For Tier3, I found many of the races to be a fair bit harder. The Nissan could not gain on the Works'd Murcielago on several tracks. I switched to the Lambo myself and won everything easily (except the 30 laps at Donnington... that one was just plain HARD because I kept getting track bounce about every 12th lap... Took 3 tries, I was gaining about 2 seconds per lap on the AI lambo unless the car bounced)
I have heard from some that the game appears to adjust the performance of the opponent cars according to the car you use, this may simply be because the game make the opponent cars a bit slower which is enough to let the Nissan keep up even though it puts in slower lap times. I don't know, I haven't been watching my lap times. I have won almost every single race with the Nissan without any significant trouble.

I personally have no problems spinning out opponents. Actually, I do it a lot. It's really easy to get them when they are starting to corner, though you can get them to spin out by hitting the back bumper on the side that they are turning on. Example: You're on a straight away and there is a very slight bend on the straight away that goes to the left. If you are drafting them you should be able to give them a little tap on the left side of the rear bumper.. and wham.. they spin out and cuss you out while you keep driving.

Seems that some of the stars are only possible if you lose a race. These include "clean lap" on the Nordschliefe sprint tracks (just 1 "lap"), and spin out 4 opponents.
sorry, that's not correct. I did the spinout on Spa-Francorchamps with a Nissan GT-R (old version) and get 4 opponents to spin out, and still finish first!

Here's a trick to spin out opponents, I got the 4 spin outs with the Subaru Impreza STi and all I did was to draft behind the car and then hit NOS to rear end the car on the corner aiming for the tail light and the cars just got up my hood and then spun out Works every time, just like explain in other words a couple of previous post from mine. And just let the other cars go in front of you then repeat if you won the race once you don't need to be 1st again when spinning out cars. Hope that will help! And if I'm not wrong the physics of this game is realistic since to spin out cars is no other than basic P.I.T. maneuver
